Design was the obvious choice.
Art has always been a passion of mine. My earliest memories are sitting in the kitchen floor painting on paper bags as my mom painted and crafted. I also remember watching my dad hand-letter advertisements for the windows of the grocery store he managed. Music was always present. The medium never seemed to matter only the desire to create.
I grew up along the Grand Strand of South Carolina. Spending my earlier years in Little River on the north end, then completing high school in Conway. In high school it was a photography class that sparked the beginning of my design career. Photographing prom dresses for a local boutique’s advertisement in the school newspaper made me realize that art could be a career. Following that path led me to the University of South Carolina where I majored Media Arts with a minor in Fine Arts . Why learn one art discipline when you can learn many? My professional career has been filled with Creative & Art Direction, Advertisement & Marketing, Branding & Identity, and last but not least Screen Printing.
I currently live in Monroe, Georgia with my beautiful wife, Megan Farmer, and our two cats.
